The Research Assistant runs on search credits, and the number of credits available depends on your plan or subscription. From the start, you connect an AI provider of your choice — such as Ollama, OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini or OpenRouter — using your own API key.
Subscriptions support the ongoing research, assessment and maintenance required to keep BIRI™ independent while funding continued development of the platform.
Concessional Member is S$7/month. Member Subscription is S$30/month. Corporate rates and sponsor packages are also available.
Anyone can submit a community ranking through the webapp at any time. A formal appeal of the official ranking is available to subscribers only, and only to the owner of the organisation. Consultants, agents or attorneys acting on an owner’s behalf must provide a signed director’s letter, which will be checked. A fee applies, and only one formal appeal is permitted every three months.
Subscribers can download their Research Assistant search history to use as a knowledge base with their own AI tools. Consulting opportunities and social features are also available to subscribers through the BIRI™ webapp.
