Unhappy with Your Ranking?

Think we’ve got it wrong?

Organisations change. Policies improve. Governance evolves. Evidence standards become stronger.

Step 1

Subscribe

A BIRI™ subscription unlocks full access to rankings, the Research Assistant, and the ability to submit a formal appeal. Concessional subscriptions are available for students and small businesses.

Step 2

Submit a community ranking

Members can submit a community ranking for an organisation through the BIRI™ webapp. This is the fastest way to flag new evidence, and is open to the public — no subscription required.

Step 3

Request a formal appeal

If you believe your official BIRI™ ranking itself needs review, you may request a formal appeal. Formal appeals are available to subscribers only, and are restricted to the owner of the organisation being ranked.

Appeals may only be submitted by a subscriber who owns the organisation being ranked.

Consultants, agents and attorneys acting on an owner’s behalf must submit a letter signed by a director of the company. This reference will be checked.

A fee applies for submitting a formal appeal.

Only one formal appeal may be submitted every three months.

Every appeal follows the same published methodology applied to every organisation. Submitting additional evidence does not guarantee a higher ranking. Subscriptions, sponsorships or commercial relationships have absolutely no influence on rankings.
